For Peace–Thoughts on forgiveness and healing

May 27, 2014

Something I thought on tonight is how easy it can be to think wrongly of someone. We can get caught up in our own limited vision, that we cast a viewpoint on someone that isn’t there. It’s my prayer that even if someone doesn’t understand me, doesn’t like me, whatever, that I see them with the love of Christ. The scripture that comes to mind is Philippians 4:7-8:

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

When we take our minds off of what someone did or might’ve done, didn’t do, and make a conscious decision to instead ask God to love them and see them as He sees them, it becomes incredibly freeing. Just like Jesus loved even when others didn’t understand, or viewed Him wrongly, or wanted to cast Him away, He still loved. Not with self-righteousness, but because it is His will that no one be lost.

I ask the Lord to help me in this area. I strive to try to see things from another’s point of view, but, I still need His help. The beauty of it is, is when we repent and ask His forgiveness and seek His healing and cleansing, He’ll work it out to the good and for His glory. He can heal those hurting places and mend those wounds. Let go of the judgment book that you aren’t meant to carry to begin with. Watch Him heal you and restore any broken place. Watch Him deliver and set free, even those relationships that may seem unrecoverable.

I come humbly now,

seeking your grace

I realize that I need

to seek your face.

I see someone else’s blood

on my sleeves,

not talking about murder

but these thoughts need

to be replaced

by His grace

I’m reminded that I

can call Your name

Jesus, please help

me to judge myself

I’m thankful for

your love and help

to help me see

the good in all,

the love of Christ,

grace and peace.

I let go

of the past hurt,

I let go

of any shame

I let go

those places

that I’m not meant to carry

I let go

of the judgment

as I think of the cross

You already paid the cost

You already paid it all

No need to worry,

no need to fear

the joy of the Lord

the joy of peace, near.

End-time economics…

End-Time Economics

History of gold
    Biblical Perspective
    Historic Perspective
To Modern Day Fall from gold standard
Why falling away from the gold standard is fallible
Why it only supports the scriptural reference(s) within Revelation
What it means in terms of Current-day economics and beyond
You can no longer buy or sell–you can no longer exchange your money for true
Value…gold. In the end, Who is the true source?

Looking at the value of the dollar today is truly shocking. In a previous generation, it was not unheard of to go to the store and buy a meal for a family with spare change, literally. Nowadays, a single good steak can cost in double-digit dollars. In the 1980s, a gallon of gas could be had for less than a dollar. Today, we’ve seen gallons of gas exceed $5.  Clearly, the dollar has lost value drastically. But, what does it mean?
